BSX Records will release a soundtrack album for the documentary Death of a Nation. The album features the film’s original music composed by Dennis McCarthy (Star Trek: Generations, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, MacGyver) who recorded his score with the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by John Beal. Regardless of personal politics, this is very well made, comprehensive and informative. A bit heavy on early 20th century Europe, perhaps but still effective. What was an unexpected surprise was the music for the last ten minutes of the film. Soaring arrangements and execution. WOW!
