Howard Goodall is currently recording his score for the upcoming action comedy sequel Johnny English Strikes Again. The film is directed by David Kerr and stars Rowan Atkinson, Ben Miller, Olga Kurylenko, Emma Thompson and Jake Lacy. The third installment in the series follows the title character on a mission to find the mastermind hacker of a cyber-attack that reveals the identity of all active undercover agents in Britain. William Davies (How to Train Your Dragon, Flushed Away) wrote the screenplay. Tim Bevan & Eric Fellner (Atonement, Love Actually) are producing the project for Working Title Films, alongside Chris Clark (All the Money in the World, Legend). Goodall has previously co-written the Johnny English theme with Edward Shearmur who scored the original 2003 Johnny English movie. Ilan Eshkeri composed the music for the 2011 sequel Johnny English Reborn. Goodall is also known for his music for the Atkinson-starring TV series Mr. Bean and the feature films, Bean and Mr. Bean’s Holiday. Johnny English Strikes Again is set to be released in the U.S. on October 26, 2018 by Focus Features following a release in the UK and other markets a couple of weeks earlier.
