The full details of the soundtrack album for Lynne Ramsay’s dramatic thriller You Were Never Really Here have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Jonny Greenwood (Phantom Thread, There Will Be Blood, The Master, Inherent Vice) who previously scored Ramsay’s We Need to Talk About Kevin. The soundtrack will be released digitally on March 9 in the U.S. by Lakeshore Records and overseas by Invada Records. Check back on this page for the pre-order link. You Were Never Really Here is written and directed by Ramsay and stars Joaquin Phoenix, Judith Roberts, Ekaterina Samsonov, John Doman, Alex Manette, Dante Pereira-Olsen and Alessandro Nivola. The movie follows a former war veteran who tries to save women trapped in the world of sex trafficking.
