La-La Land Records has announced the details of the new soundtrack album for the 1985 adventure comedy The Jewel of the Nile directed by Lewis Teague and starring Michael Douglas, Kathleen Turner and Danny DeVito. The album features the film’s original score composed and conducted by Jack Nitzsche (An Officer and a Gentleman, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Stand by Me, Starman), including more than 30 minutes of previously unreleased music. Also included is Billy Ocean’s hit song, When The Going Gets Tough, The Tough Get Going, as featured during the film’s end credits.The original 1985 soundtrack album featured two score suites in addition to the songs from the 20th Century Fox production.
