Daniel Pemberton has recently composed the music for the upcoming Black Mirror episode USS Callister. The episode is directed by Toby Haynes (Doctor Who, Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell) and stars Jesse Plemons, Cristin Milioti, Jimmi Simpson, Michaela Coel and Billy Magnussen. The show’s creator Charlie Brooker wrote the script with William Bridges (SuperBob). No plot details have been announced yet. Pemberton follows composers such as Clint Mansell, Max Richter, Bear McCreary, Ben Salisbury & Geoff Barrow, Martin Phipps, among others who previously scored episodes of the anthology series. USS Callister will premiere as part of Black Mirror‘s fourth season, which will be available to stream this fall on Neflix.
As previously reported, Pemberton has also recently scored Aaron Sorkin’s Molly’s Game, which is premiering this week at the Toronto Film Festival and the thriller Mark Felt: The Man Who Brought Down the White House, which is opening in theaters later this month.
