Keegan DeWitt is scoring the upcoming indie comedy The Long Dumb Road. The film is directed by Hannah Fidell (A Teacher, 6 Years) and stars Jason Mantzoukas, Tony Revolori, Grace Gummer, Taissa Farmiga, Ron Livingston, Casey Wilson, Ciara Bravo, Annie Lederman and Pamela Reed. The movie follows two guys who serendipitously meet at a time when they both find themselves at personal crossroads and decide to embark on an unplanned road trip across the American Southwest. Fidell also co-wrote the screenplay with Carson Mell (Silicon Valley) and is producing the project with Jacqueline Ingram, Jonathan Duffy and Kelly Williams. The Long Dumb Road is currently in post-production and is expected to premiere later this year.
DeWitt whose previous scoring credits include I’ll See You in My Dreams, Morris from America, The Hero and Listen Up Philip will also return to score the second season of HBO’s Divorce (set to premiere in January 2018) and also has Brett Haley’s Hearts Beat Loud coming up. He also scored the thriller Gemini starring Lola Kirke, which will be released in 2018 by Neon. His upcoming feature projects include the indie comedy Making Babies written and directed by Josh Huber and stars Steve Howey and Eliza Coupe, as well as the comedy drama Chasing the Blues co-written and directed by Scott Smith and starring Steve Guttenberg, Jon Lovitz, Anna Maria Horsford and Grant Rosenmeyer.
