Deutsche Grammophon will release a second soundtrack album for Oliver Stone’s biographical drama Snowden. The album features the film’s orchestral score composed by Craig Armstrong (Moulin Rouge!, The Great Gatsby, Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo & Juliet, World Trade Center, The Incredible Hulk). The soundtrack will be released digitally on September 16, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. As previously reported, the label will also release a separate soundtrack featuring the film’s music by Armstrong and Adam Peters. Snowden starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Shailene Woodley, Melissa Leo, Zachary Quinto, Tom Wilkinson, Rhys Ifans and Nicolas Cage chronicles Edward Snowden’s time in Russia hoping to get asylum while the United States was demanding his extradition. The drama will be released nationwide on September 16, 2016 by Open Road Films. Visit the official movie website to learn more about the film.
