Saunder Jurriaans and Danny Bensi have been tapped to score the upcoming drama Barry. The film is directed by Vikram Gandhi (Kumare) and stars Devon Terrell, Anya Taylor-Joy, Jason Mitchell, Ellar Coltrane, Ashley Judd, Jenna Elfman, Fab Five Freddy and Danny Hoch. The movie explores the time when Barack Obama was a college student in New York City and forged key relationships, including with a fellow student. Novelist Adam Mansbach (Go the F**k to Sleep) has written the screenplay. Teddy Schwarzman (The Imitation Game, All Is Lost) and Ben Stillman are producing the project for Black Bear Pictures, alongside Dana O’Keefe for Cinetic Media and Gandhi. Barry is currently in post-production. No word yet on a premiere date.
