Keefus Ciancia has composed the music for the horror thriller As Above, So Below. The film is co-written and directed by John Erick Dowdle (Quarantine) and stars Perdita Weeks, Ben Feldman, Edwin Hodge, Francois Civil, Marion Lambert, Ali Marhyar, Cosme Castro and Hamidreza Javdan. The movie follows a team of explorers that ventures into the catacombs that lie beneath the streets of Paris and uncovers a dark secret. Thomas Tull (Godzilla, Pacific Rim, 42) is producing the Legendary Picturs production with Jon Jashni (Shopgirl), Drew Dowdle (Quarantine) and Patrick Aiello (The Double). Alex Garland (28 Days Later…, Dredd) serves as an executive producer. Ciancia’s prefious scoring credits include The Motel Life, the biopic Diana and the TV shows Nashville and Saving Grace. Dowdle’s last feature Devil featured a score by Fernando Velazquez and his next movie The Coup will feature music by Marco Beltrami.
