Benson Taylor has announced on Twitter that he is composing the score for the upcoming crime thriller London Fields. The film is directed by Matthew Cullen and stars Amber Heard, Billy Bob Thornton, Jim Sturgess, Theo James and Jaimie Alexander. Johnny Depp will appear in a cameo role. The movie is based on the novel by Martin Amis (Saturn 3) and follows a promiscuous psychic who meets her fate as foretold by her visions by going to a seedy London pub. Amis has written the screenplay with Roberta Hanley (Veronika Decides to Die). Chris Hanley (Spring Breakers, American Psycho) is producing the project for Muse Productions, alongside Jordan Gertner for Hero Entertainment and Geyer Kosinski (Bad News Bears, Fargo, School for Scoundrels) for Media Talent Group. London Fields is currently in post-production and is expected to premiere later this year.
