Carlo Siliotto has composed the score for the indie drama May in the Summer. The film is written and directed by Cherien Dabis (Amreeka) and stars herself, alongside Hiam Abbass, Bill Pullman, Alia Shawkat, Nadine Malouf, Alexander Siddig and Ritu Singh Pande. The movie follows a bride-to-be who is forced to reevaluate her life when she reunites with her family in Jordan and finds herself confronted with the aftermath of her parents’ divorce. Dabis is also producing the project with Alix Madigan-Yorkin (Winter’s Bone, Cleaner) and Chris Tricarico. Siliotto’s previous film scoring credits include The Punisher, Under the Same Moon, Fluke and Nomad: The Warrior, for which he received a Golden Globe nomination. May in the Summer just premiered in competition at the Sundance Film Festival. No distribution deal has been announced yet.

Actually, IMDB says that Kareem Roustom is the composer on “May in the Summer”…
Guess they tossed Siliotto’s score. Kareeem lists on his site completing his on April 26.
