The full details of the soundtrack album for the Netflix original animated film Steps have been revealed. The album features the film’s original score composed by Academy Award nominee Kris Bowers (The Wild Robot, Bridgerton, Green Book, Spider-Noir, GOAT, Haunted Mansion, Hexed, The Color Purple, Space Jam: A New Legacy, Dear White People). Also included are the movie’s original songs written and produced by Justin Tranter and performed by Jennie, Emei, Rose Gray, as well as Amanda Seyfried (who also stars the voice of Cinderella). The soundtrack will be released digitally on November 20 by Netflix Music and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. As previously reported, a first song (Someone to Hold performed by Jennie) has already been released as a digital single today. Steps iss directed by Alyce Tzue & John Ripa and also stars Ali Wong, Stephanie Hsu, Daniel Radcliffe, Young Mazino, Nikki Glaser, Peter Dinklage and Bette Midler. The animated comedy follows Cinderella’s “evil” stepsister Lilith who steals the Fairy Godmother’s wand and shatters the story as we know it. The film will premiere on November 20 on Netflix and is also being released in select theaters on the same day.
