Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack EP for the Spanish/French epic drama La Bola Negra. The 7-track EP features selections of the film’s original score composed by Raül Refree (Bad Beast, Between Two Waters, One Year, One Night). Also included is the original song La Nieve co-written (with Refree) and performed by Guitarricadelafuente, as well as additional original songs performed by Penélope Cruz and Maria Terremoto. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. The label has previously released an EP featuring the song and six score tracks earlier this month. La Bola Negra is co-written and directed by Javier Calvo & Javier Ambrossi and stars Guitarricadelafuente, Miguel Bernardeau, Carlos González, Milo Quifes, Cruz, Lola Dueñas and Glenn Close. The movie spans nearly a century of Spanish history from the 30s to modern day and tells the story of three generations of men whose lives are intimately connected through desire, pain, and love. The drama, which premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, is being released in select U.S. theaters this weekend and will make its streaming debut on December 4 on Netflix.
