Filmtrax/Atlantic Screen Music will release a soundtrack album for the post-apocalyptic sci-fi adventure Afterburn. The album features the film’s original music composed by Roque Banos (Don’t Breathe, Evil Dead, In the Heart of the Sea, The Machinist, Come Play, The Girl in the Spider’s Web, The Killer’s Game, Sexy Beast). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, October 16. Check back on this page for the streaming/download link. Afterburn is directed by J.J. Perry and stars Dave Bautista, Olga Kurylenko, Kristofer Hivju, Samuel L. Jackson and Daniel Bernhardt. The movie based on the Red 5 comic/graphic novel series of the same name by Scott Chitwood & Paul Ens takes place after a massive solar flare destroys the Earth’s eastern hemisphere and follows a mercenary who is hired to retrieve the Mona Lisa but discovers his mission is not as he first thought.
