Angel (Studios) has released a soundtrack album for the western Angel and the Badman. The album features the film’s original music composed by Hanan Townshend (Knight of Cups, To the Wonder, The Long Game, Semper Fi, Went Up the Hill, The Vessel, Blue Miracle, Outcry). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s title track after the jump. Angel and the Badman is directed by Julio Quintana and stars Zachary Levi, Meg Fraser, Tommy Lee Jones, Neal McDonough, Barrett Klepac, Jean Louisa Kelly, Melissa Chambers, Jesus Carus, Maurice Greene and Sean Bridgers. The movie based on James Edward Grant’s 1947 feature (starring John Wayne) tells the story of a wounded outlaw who stumbles onto a rancher’s land, where he is offered a chance at a life beyond violence by the rancher’s daughter. The western is being released in theaters nationwide this weekend by Angel.
