Walt Disney Records will release the score for Disney’s animated short Paperman. The music is composed by Christophe Beck (The Muppets, The Hangover). The one-track single will be released digitally on December 18, 2012 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Paperman directed by John Kahrs and produced by John Lasseter follows the story of a lonely young man in mid-century New York City, whose destiny takes an unexpected turn after a chance meeting with a beautiful woman on his morning commute. The black-and-white animated short is currently playing in theaters nationwide in front of Disney’s Wreck-It-Ralph and is among the 10 shorts up for an Academy Award in the Best Animated Short Film category.

The youtube video posted is of Beethoven’s “Moonlight Sonata”, not Christophe’s score to Paperman. Beautiful song though!
If you bothered to read the description, it will give you a link to the actual song. So be sure to read the description first, click the link in the description, and then you’ll be able to get the score to Paperman.
The score sounds incredibly similar to Chicane – Windbreaks… Which was released a full year before this…
