Composer Rock Burwell is reteaming with director Curry Barker on the upcoming horror comedy Anything But Ghosts. The film is written and directed by Barker and stars Cooper Tomlinson and Barker himself as wannabe “ghosthunters” who find themselves in over their heads as things spiral wildly and terrifyingly out of control. Violet McGraw, Chris Reinacher, Bryce Dallas Howard and Aaron Paul are also starring in the movie. Roy Lee (It, Weapons) and Steven Schneider (Insidious, The Long Walk) are producing the project for Spooky Pictures, alongside Jason Blum (Get Out, Halloween) for Blumhouse, as well as Adam Hendricks and Greg Gilreath (Heart Eyes, Totally Killer) for Divide/Conquer. Burwell has previously made his feature scoring debut on Barker’s Obsession. Anything But Ghosts will be released nationwide on May 7, 2027 by Focus Features.
