Milan Records has released the first track from the soundtrack for the new movie adaptation of the CAPCOM video game Street Fighter. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services is a new version of Guile’s Theme (originally written by Yoko Shimomur for the 1991 video game Street Fighter II) produced by the film’s composers Leo Birenberg & Zach Robinson (Cobra Kai, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, Super Troopers 3, Obliterated, The Breadwinner, Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin, Florida Man) and performed by themselves, Jemma Heigis, Myrone & Jacob Umansky. Street Fighter is directed by Kitao Sakurai and stars Noah Centineo, Andrew Koji, Callina Liang, Joe “Roman Reigns” Anoai, David Dastmalchian, Eric André, Cody Rhodes, Vidyut Jammwal, Orville Peck, Hirooki Goto, Olivier Richters, Rayna Vallandingham, Alexander Volkanovski, Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson and Jason Momoa. The movie will be released in theaters nationwide on October 16 by Paramount Pictures.
