Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the streamer’s original film Best of the Best. The album features the film’s original score composed by Daniel Rojas (Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts, Hit-Monkey, Marvel’s M.O.D.O.K., Fly Hard, Who Invented Charlie?, Monster High). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s first track after the jump. Best of the Best is directed by Lena Khan and stars Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Priyanka Kedia, Ankur Rathee, Becky Alex, Chaneil Kular, Janina Gavankar, Hasan Minhaj (who also co-wrote the screenplay), Shreya Navile, Lilly Singh and Nihar Duvvuri. The comedy follows two childhood best friends who join UCLA’s competitive Bollywood-fusion dance team, only to discover that the road to winning the U.S. Championship is far more raucous and cutthroat than they ever imagined. The film, which also features an original new track by A.R. Rahman, is premiering today exclusively on Netflix.
