Alexandra Hamilton-Ayres (Long Live My Happy Head, Tish, Savage Mountain, The Oil Machine) has released a soundtrack album for the documentary Super Nature. The album features the composer’s original music from the film and is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Super Nature is directed, produced and edited by Ed Sayers who leads a collective of 40 collaborators across 25 countries, capturing everything from white rhinos to sea dragons in a diverse tapestry of footage. The movie is being described as an “immersive study of the natural world”, filmed entirely on Super 8. The documentary (executive produced by Asif Kapadia) premiered at last year’s BFI London Film Festival and just opened in UK and Irish theaters last weekend. No word yet on a domestic release date.
