Milan Records will release the official soundtrack album for the South Korean sci-fi/action thriller Hope. The album features the film’s original music composed by Michael Abels (Get Out, Us, Nope, Star Wars: The Acolyte, Sirens, The Burial, Landscape with Invisible Hand, Breaking, See You Yesterday). Hope is written and directed by Na Hong-jin and stars Hwang Jung-min, Zo In-sung, Hoyeon, Michael Fassbender, Alicia Vikander, Taylor Russell and Cameron Britton. The movie takes place in a remote South Korea village, where the police chief and and an officerare called to find a mysterious creature that has wreaked havoc on the village and follows a coterie of hunters who set out to track the beast and find themselves hunted instead. The Forged Films and Plus M Entertainment production, which premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, opened in South Korean theaters this summer and will be released in U.S. theaters nationwide tomorrow by Neon.
