22D Music has released a soundtrack album for the French drama The Blow (La Frappe). The album features the film’s original music composed by Delphine Malaussena (Final Set, The Seduction, Winter in Sokcho, The Blade, No One Will Know, LaRoy, Moon, 66 Questions). The Blow is co-written and directed by Julien Gaspar-Oliveri and stars Diego Murgia, Bastien Bouillon, Romane Fringeli and Héloïse Volle. The movie revolves around two siblings who face deep emotional conflict after their father is released from a five-year prison sentence. The drama premiered at this year’s Cannes Critics’ Week and is opening in French theaters today. No word yet on a domestic release.
