Enjoy the Ride Records has announced the world premiere score release for the 1999 coming-of-age sports comedy drama Varsity Blues directed by Brian Robbins and starring James Van Der Beek, Jon Voight, Paul Walker, Amy Smart, Ali Larter, Scott Caan and Ron Lester. The album features the film’s original score composed by Academy Award nominee Mark Isham (Crash, A River Runs Through It,Once Upon a Time, Miracle, Judas and the Black Messiah, 42, The Accountant), as well as several unused and alternate cues. The soundtrack is now available to order as a limited edition colored vinyl (pressed at 45 RPM) on the label’s official website, where you can also find out more about the soundtrack. Hollywood Records has previously released the original 1999 soundtrack album featuring the songs from the movie on CD. Varsity Blues was released in theaters in early 1999 by Paramount Pictures and is now available to purchase on VOD, Blu-ray & DVD and to stream on Paramount+.
