Waxwork Records will release a soundtrack album for the documentary Barbara Forever. The album features the film’s original score written by New York City-based composer, sound designer, and multi-instrumentalist Taul Katz (Mutt, Death Without Mercy). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, August 28. A physical version will be available to order on the label’s official website the following Friday, September 4. A first track (Clay) is already available to stream/download now and can also be checked out after the jump. Barbara Forever is directed by Brydie O’Connor and explores the life, work, and legacy of iconic, pioneering lesbian filmmaker Barbara Hammer, told through her own voice and films. The documentary premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and will be released in New York on September 4 by Strand Releasing before expanding to more markets in the following weeks.
