Strange Loop Recordings has released a soundtrack album for the Australian documentary Guided by Horses. The album features the film’s original music composed by Caitlin Yeo (Bad Behaviour, Every Little Thing, Last Days of the Space Age, Danger Close, The Butterfly Tree, Playing with Sharks: The Valerie Taylor Story,The Rocket). Guided by Horses directed by Sean O’Reilly is set against the breathtaking landscapes of Australia’s Kimberley region and follows Aboriginal scientist Professor Juli Coffin and her pioneering horse sanctuary where people and animals come together in unexpected ways. The documentary just premiered last week at the 2026 Melbourne International Film Festival and is set to open Australian theaters in February of 2027. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
