Lia Ouyang Rusli (aka OHYUNG) (Sorry, Baby, Problemista, Test Pattern, Happyend, Fantasmas, Bruiser, Photographer) will release a soundtrack album for the indie drama Dreams in Nightmares. The album features the composer’s original music from the film and will be released digitally tomorrow, August 19. The streaming/download link will be added to this page within the next day. Dreams in Nightmares is written and directed by Shatara Michelle Ford and stars Denée Benton, Sasha Compère, Charlie Barnett, Dezi Bing, Mars Storm Rucker and Jasmin Savoy Brown. The movie follows a group of queer friends in their mid-30s navigating love, identity, and belonging. The drama premiered at the 2024 BlackStar Film Festival (and screened at numerous other festivals over the last two years) and will be released theatrically in New York this Friday, August 21 before expanding to more markets in the following weeks.
