David Buckley (The Sandman, Greenland, Nobody, The Nice Guys, Papillon, Jason Bourne, Angel Has Fallen, Nobody, Shelter, The Forbidden Kingdom) has been tapped to score the upcoming CBS drama Cupertino. The show is created by Robert & Michelle King and stars Mike Colter, Rachel Keller, Ella Stiller, Nik Dodani, Busy Phillips and Reneé Elise Goldsberry.. The legal drama is set in the heart of Silicon Valley and follows a lawyer who is cheated out of his stock options by his former employer, a tech start-up and joins forces with another recently fired attorney to represent those taken advantage of by the tech elite and help them fight back in a high-stakes battle against the Goliaths controlling Silicon Valley. Robert & Michelle King are also executive producing the CBS Studios production with Liz Glotzer (The Mist, Music & Lyrics) and Sam Hoffman (Madam Secretary, Furious). Buckley has previously collaborated with the creators on the TV shows The Good Wife, The Good Fight, BrainDead, Evil and the second season of Your Honor. Cupertino will premiere on October 8, 2026 on CBS.
Buckley also continues to score Netflix’s The Lincoln Lawyer, which has been renewed for a fifth and final season.
