Joseph LoDuca (The Evil Dead, Xena: Warrior Princess, Spartacus, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Chucky, The Librarians, Leverage) is the score composer of the new HBO Max original series Stuart Fails to Save the Universe. The Big Bang Theory spinoff is created by Chuck Lorre (Two and a Half Men, The Kominsky Method), Zak Penn (Free Guy, Ready Player One) & Bill Prady (Young Sheldon & Dharma & Greg) and stars Kevin Sussman who reprises his role of comic book store owner Stuart Bloom, as well as Lauren Lapkus, Brian Posehn and John Ross Bowie. As previously reported, Danny Elfman has contributed main title theme music for the comedy, which follows the title character who must locate a quantum-interference device to restore reality after accidentally creating a new multiverse. Lorre, Penn & Brady are also executive producing the Warner Bros. Television production with Kyle Newacheck (Workaholics, Game Over, Man!) who also directed multiple episodes. Stuart Fails to Save the Universe will premiere next Thursday, May 23 exclusively on HBO Max.
LoDuca also continues to score TNT’s The Librarians: The Next Chapter, which will return for its second season on August 2.
