Dragon’s Domain Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1981 television movie The Girl, the Gold Watch & Dynamite directed by Hy Averback, written by George Zateslo, based on the 1952 novel by John D. MacDonald and starring Philip MacHale, Lee Purcell, Burton Gilliam, Zohra Lampert and Morgan Fairchild. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Bruce Broughton (Silverado, Homeward Bound, Tombstone,Rescuers Down Under, Young Sherlock Holmes, The Miracle on 42nd Street, Lost in Space ). The soundtrack is now available to order as a limited edition CD on the label’s official website, where you can also listen to audio samples and find out more about the release. The Girl, the Gold Watch & Dynamite is the sequel to the 1980 TV film The Girl, the Gold Watch & Everything and premiered in 1981.
