The full details of the soundtrack album for Olivia Wilde’s comedy drama The Invite have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Devonté Hynes (aka Blood Orange) (Passing, Queen & Slim, Palo Alto, The Listeners, We Are Who We Are, Master Gardener, Mainstream). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 26 by A24 Music. A vinyl edition is also in the works. A first track (Contentious Environment) has already been released as a digital single last week. The Invite is directed by Wilde and stars Seth Rogen, Wilde herself, Penélope Cruz and Edward Norton. The movie ollows a couple whose upstairs neighbors are about to arrive for dinner, and everything that can go wrong goes worse. The dramedy premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and will be released in select theaters this weekend before expanding nationwide on July 10.
