Nima Fakhrara (Lou, Becky, Detroit: Become Human, The Signal, Sick, The Pyramid, Alone) is currently scoring the upcoming thriller Three People in the Woods. The film is directed by Joshua Caldwell (Infamous, Mending the Line) and stars Katharine McPhee, Henry Thomas, Jim Gaffigan, Forrest Weber and Morgan Saylor. The movie revolves around a grieving couple who kidnap the man they believe is responsible for the death of their teenage daughter, but – after dragging him into the woods – they find their resolve is tested and the couple soon begin to unravel. Nick Scandura wrote the screenplay. Caldwell is also producing the project with Visor Entertainment’s Jordan Yale Levine (The Kill Room, Separation), Sabine Stener and Randy Kleinman, as well as Scott Levenson (Jack Goes Home, King Cobra). Three People in the Woods is currently in post-production. No word yet on a release date.
As previously reported, Fakrhara’s other upcoming projects also include Jenn Wexler’s The Last Temptation of Becky, which will premiere at this year’s Fantasia International Film Festival before being released in theaters later this year by Quiver Distribution.
