Lakeshore Records has released the second soundtrack for the crime comedy I Love Boosters. The album features the film’s original score composed by Tune-Yards (aka Merrill Garbus & Nate Brenner) (Sorry to Bother You, I’m a Virgo). The label has previously released an EP featuring lead actress Keke Palmer’s original songs from the movie earlier this month. I Love Boosters is written and directed by Boots Riley and also stars Naomi Ackie, Taylour Paige, Eiza González, Poppy Liu, LaKeith Stanfield, Will Poulter and Demi Moore. The movie follows a crew of professional shoplifters who take aim at a cutthroat fashion maven. The comedy premiered at this year’s SXSW Film Festival and is being released in theaters nationwide this weekend by Neon.
