Dan Deacon ( Task, Venom: The Last DanceHustle, The Changeling, AscensionTwixtRez Ball, Strawberry MansionWedding Season) has provided the original score for the upcoming Netflix original film Little Brother. The movie is directed by Matt Spicer (Ingrid Goes West) and stars John Cena, Eric André, Michelle Monaghan, Sherry Cola, Christopher Meloni, Ego Nwodim, Ben Ahlers, Bryce Gheisar, Caleb Hearon and Pilot Bunch. The comedy follows a tightly wound realtor and family man whose picture-perfect life gets an extreme makeover when his chaotic little brother suddenly reappears. Jarrod Paul & Andrew Mogel (The Grinder, Yes Man) wrote the screenplay. Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland, Venom) and David Bernad (The White Lotus, Immaculate) are producing the Middle Child production. Little Brother will premiere on June 26, 2026 exclusively on Netflix.

Deacon’s other recent feature projects include Sara Dosa’s documentary Time and Water, which premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and will be released in select theaters next Friday, May 29 by National Geographic Films, as well as Edd Benda’s & Stephen Helstad’s Chili Finger, which premiered at this year’s SXSW Film Festival and is currently awaiting a distribution deal.
