Christopher Lennertz (The BoysLost in SpaceSausage Party, Agent Carter, Back in Action, Identity Thief, Baywatch, Supernatural) has composed the original score for the upcoming Netflix original film 72 Hours. The movie is directed by Tim Story (Fantastic Four, Barbershop) and stars Kevin Hart, Marcello Hernández, Mason Gooding, Ben Marshall, Kam Patterson, Kevin Dunn, Zach Cherry, as well as Teyana Taylor and Andy Garcia. The comedy follows a 40-year-old exec who joins a crew of 20-somethings on a wild three-day bachelor party to save his career after he’s mistakenly added to their group text. Matt Mider and Kevin Burrows (Gentlemen Lobsters, The Package) wrote the screenplay with Jon Hurwitz & Hayden Schlossberg (Cobra Kai, Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle). Story, Hart, Hurwitz & Schlossberg are also producing the project with  John Davis (Predator, I, Robot), Josh Heald (Obliterated, Plan B), Luke Kelly-Clyne (Die Hart, Xeno), Bryan Smiley (Lift) and Will Packer (Girls Trip, You, Me & Tuscany). Lennertz has previously collaborated with Story on the Ride Along & Think Like a Man movies, as well as the features ShaftTom & JerryDashing Through the Snow and The Pickup. 72 Hours will premiere on July 24, 2026 exclusively on Netflix.

Lennertz’s other recent projects include the the fifth and final season of Prime Video’s The Boys. The series finale will premiere on May 20 and will also be released in select (4DX) theaters.
