Siddhartha Khosla (Only Murders in the Building, Paradise, This Is Us, The Idea of You, Rabbit Hole, Welcome to Chippendales, Looking for Alaska) has teamed up with Alan DeMoss (A Family Affair, Government Cheese, A Very Jonas Christmas) to score the second season of the Netflix original series Running Point. The show is created by Mindy Kaling, Ike Barinholtz & David Stassen (Central Intelligence, The Oath) and stars Kate Hudson, Drew Tarver, Brenda Song, Fabrizio Guido, Scott MacArthur, Chet Hanks, Uche Agada, Toby Sandeman and Justin Theroux. The new season of the comedy follows Isla as she must summon all her heart and hustle to outmaneuver chaos in both the locker room and the boardroom. Stassen serves as the project’s showrunner and is also executibve producing the Warner Bros. Television production with Kaling, Barinholtz, Hudson, 3 Arts Entertainment’s Howard Klein (The Office, Parks and Recreation), Jeanie Buss and Linda Rambis (Legacy: The True Story of the LA Lakers). The new season of the comedy. Joseph Stephens has previously scored last year’s first season. Season 2 of Running Point will premiere this coming Thursday, April 23 exclusively on Netflix.
Khosla’s other recent projects include Apple TV’s Imperfect Women, which just premiered last month and Skydance Animation’s Netflix film Swapped (to be released in select theaters and on Netflix on May 1). He also continues to score Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building, which has been renewed for a sixth season and Paradise, which will return for a third and final season, and co-score CBS’ Elsbeth (with Garrett Gonzales) and Fox’s Memory of a Killer (with Jeff Garber), which have both also been renewed for new seasons.
