David Fleming (Superman, The Last of Us, Damsel, Eternity, Anaconda, The Alto Knights, Jim Henson: Idea Man, Americana) has composed the original score for the upcoming Apple TV original series Widow’s Bay. The show is created by Katie Dippold (The Heat, Ghostbusters) and stars Matthew Rhys, Kate O’Flynn, Stephen Root, Kevin Carroll, Kingston Rumi Southwick and Dale Dickey. The 10-part horror comedy is set on the fictional titular quaint island 40 miles off the New England coast, where something lurks beneath the surface and follows the place’s mayor who is desperate to revive his struggling community. Dippold & Rhys are also executive producing the Apple Studios production with Carver Karaszewski, Claudia Shin, as well as Hiro Murai (The Bear, Atlanta) who also directed five episodes.Fleming has previously scored the Murai-produced first season of Prime Video’s Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Widow’s Bay will premiere on April 29, 2026 exclusively on Apple TV.
Fleming also expected to return to score the second season of Prime Video’s Mr. & Mrs. Smith and co-score the third seaosn of HBO’s The Last of Us.
