Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album for the National Geographic original documentary series Secrets of the Bees. The album the show’s original music composed by David Mitcham (Dancing with the Birds, Secret Lives of Orangutans, The Elephant, the Emperor and the Butterfly Tree, The Last Orangutan Eden, Wonder of Song). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s title track after the jump. Secrets of the Bees is hosted and narrated by National Geographic Explorer Bertie Gregory, produced by Alastair Fothergill, Huw Cordey & Nadége Laici (who also directed) for Silverback Films and executive produced by James Cameron & Maria Wilhelm for Lightstorm Earth. The 2-parter uses groundbreaking filming technology to reveal the extraordinary world of bees und uncover their astonishing architecture and intelligence. The series will premiere this coming Tuesday, March 31 on National Geographic and will also be available to stream on Disney+ and Hulu the following day.
