Federico Jusid (The English, A Gentleman in Moscow, The Night Manager, The Secret in Their Eyes, Robin Hood, A Thousand Blows, The Penguin Lessons, Misconduct, The Head) has recently composed the score for the upcoming horror thriller Monitor. The film is written and directed by Matt Black & Ryan Polly based on their short of the same name and stars Brittany O’Grady, Taz Skylar, Viveik Karla, Gunner Willis, Ines Høysæter Asserson, Sara Alexander and Camila Bejarano Wahlgren. The movie revolves around a social media moderator who unleashes a deadly terror when she refuses to publish a cryptic video. Temple Hill Entertainment’s Marty Bowen & Wyck Godfrey (The Maze Runner, The Fault in Our Stars) and Isaac Klausner (Smile, Love, Simon) are producing the project with John Fischer (Clown in a Cornfield, Bagman), Adrian Guerra (Buried, The Map That Leads to You). Monitor is premiering tonight at the 2026 SXSW Film Festival.
Jusid’s other upcoming projects include the Spanish Disney+/Hulu original series If It’s Tuesday, It’s Murder (Si es martes, es asesinato) created by Carlos Vila and starring Álex García, Inma Cuesta, Ana Wagener, Biel Montoro, Belén López and Xavi Lite. The murder mystery about an organized trip to Lisbon by a peculiar group of Spanish tourists that turns into an investigation into a mysterious murder will premiere on March 31 in the U.S. on Hulu and in most other major international markets on Disney+.
