OTOROKU has released a soundtrack album for the Italian documentary Pompei: Below the Clouds (Sotto le nuvole). The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Daniel Blumberg (The Brutalist, The Testament of Ann Lee, The World to Come). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s first and final track after the jump. Pompei: Below the Clouds is written and directed by Gianfranco Rosi and is being described as a “portrait of life in Naples, a city living in the shadow of Vesuvius” and a “reflection on humanity’s capacity to live, love, and rebuild in the shadow of the unimaginable.” The movie, which premiered at last year’s Venice Film Festival, has just been released in New York last weekend by MUBI and will expand to more markets in the coming weeks before making its streaming debut on March 27.
