Thrill Jockey Records has released a soundtrack album for the Netflix original documentary Cover-Up. The album features the film’s original music composed by Maya Shenfeld (The Flagmakers). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s title track after the jump. Cover-Up is directed by Laura Poitras & Mark Obenhaus and traces the career of Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative reporter Seymour Hersh. The movie, which has been shortlisted is the Feature Documentary category for this year’s Academy Awards, draws on on exclusive access to Hersh’s notes, interweaving primary documents and archival footage, and captures the power and process of investigative journalism. The documentary premiered at last year’s Venice Film Festival and was released in select theaters last month before making its streaming debut in late December on Netflix.
