Angela Little (Never Too Late, Take My Hand, The Clinic, Streamline, Swimming for Gold, Dive Club, Back of the Net) has provided the original score for the upcoming Australian horror thriller Killer Whale. The film is directed by Jo-Anne Brechin (Paper Champions) and stars Virginia Gardner, Mel Jarnson and Mitchell Hope. The movie follows a young woman who tries to comfort her best friend after a life-shattering tragedy by taking her on an adventure in a private lagoon halfway across the world, but their peaceful retreat soon becomes a terrifying fight to stay alive when the ocean’s most bloodthirsty predator seeks vengeance for a brutal life in captivity. Brechin also co-wrote the screenplay with Katharine E. McPhee (Love Is in the Air). Lionel Hicks (The Infernal Machine) and Steve Jaggi & Kylie Pascoe (Love Is in the Air) are producing the project. Killer Whale will be released in select U.S. theaters and on VOD on January 16, 2026 by Lionsgate.
