22D Music has released a soundtrack album for the French comedy sequel Open Season 2 (Chasse gardée 2). The album features the film’s original music composed by Erwann Chandon (Simon’s Got a Gift, Mr. Blake at Your Service, Nice Girls, A Polar Year) who previously scored last year’s original movie. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to the composer’s main title track below. Chandon’s score from the first installment was released last year by Plaza Mayor Company. Open Season is directed by Frédéric Forestier & Antonin Fourlon and stars Didier Bourdon, Hakim Jemili, Thierry Lhermitte, Camille Lou, Chantal Ladeso, Maxime Gasteuil and Diane Segard. The movie is set two years after the event of the first film as the lead characters settle into their countryside life until the arrival of a wealthy hunting family shakes things up. The comedy opened in French theaters last Wednesday.
