22D Music has released a soundtrack album for the BBC drama Virdee. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by James Everingham (Chief of War, Apollo: Missions to the Moon, The Real Right Stuff)) for Bleeding Fingers Music. Also included is the main theme written by Academy Award winner Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, Dune, Gladiator, Interstellar, The Dark Knight, Inception) & Everingham feat. Shashwat Sachdev(Uri: The Surgical Strike, Selection Day). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the main theme and first score track after the jump. Virdee is created by AA Dhand based on his own novels and stars Staz Nair, Aysha Kala, Nina Singh, Sudha Bhuchar, Kulvinder Ghir and Vikash Bhai. The 6-part crime thriller directed by Mark Tonderai follows a cop disowned by his Sikh family for marrying a Muslim as he hunts down a serial killer targeting the Asian community.
