Sarah Schachner (Assassin’s Creed Origins & Valhalla, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Infinite WarfareThe Lazarus Effect) & Benjamin Wallfisch (ItAlien: Romulus, The Flash, The Invisible Man, The Conjuring: Last Rites, TwistersBlade Runner 2049, Shazam!) are composing the original score for the upcoming sci-fi action adventure Predator: Badlands. The film is directed by Dan Trachtenberg (10 Cloverfield Lane) and stars Elle Fanning and Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi. The movie is set in the future on a remote planet and follows a young Predator who finds an unlikely ally and embarks on a treacherous journey in search of the ultimate adversary. Patrick Aison (Prey) and Brian Duffield (No One Will Save You, Spontaneous) wrote the screenplay based on a story by Trachtenberg & Aison. Trachtenberg is also producing the project with John Davis (Predator, Waterworld), Marc Toberoff (Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Piranha 3D) and Ben Rosenblatt (The Alienist) and Brent O’Connor. Schachner has previously scored Trachtenberg’s Predator 2022 prequel Prey and Wallfisch has collaborated with the director on this year’s animated feature Predator: Killer of Killers. Predator: Badlands will be released in theaters nationwide on November 7, 2025 by 20th Century Studios.

Wallfisch’s other recent projects include Simon Stone’s Netflix film The Woman in Cabin 10 (to premiere this coming Friday, October 10), HBO’s It: Welcome to Derry  (to premiere on October 26) and Simon McQuoid’s Mortal Kombat 2 (to be released in theaters on May 15, 2026).
