Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the Swedish Netflix original series The New Force (Skiftet). The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Irya Gmeyner & Martin Hederos (Slow Comedy Queen, Systrar 1968, Sverige och kriget). Also included is MopDukes’ cover of Ice Cube’s Good Cop, Bad Cop. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The New Force is created by Patrik Ehrnst & Rojda Sekersöz and stars Agnes Rase, Josefin Asplund, Malin Persson, Christopher Wagelin, Rasmus Luthander, Hannes Fohlin, Cilla Thorell, Jimmy Lindström, Peter Eriksson and Pablo Leiva Wenger. The drama is based on true events and follows an understaffed police district in 1950s Sweden that launches a bold experiment to introduce its first group of female officers. The series is premiering today exclusively on Netflix.
