Blair Mowat (Nolly, Class, McDonald & Dodds, Doctor Jekyll, Black Dog, Electric Man, After the Flood) has composed the original music for the new BBC drama The Guest. The show is created by Matthew Barry and stars Eve Myles, Gabrielle Creevy, Sion Daniel Young, Bethan Mary-James, Emun Elliott, Julian Lewis Jones, Clive Russell, Joseph Ollman and Catherine Ayers. The 4-part thriller follows a cleaner who gets hired by mysterious businesswoman and whose life is changed forever when they form an unlikely friendship. Barry is also executive producing the Quay Street production with Davina Earl (Finders Keepers, The Red King), Nicola Shindler (Fool Me Once, Missing You), Rebecca Ferguson (Doctor Who, Wolf) & Nick Andrews (Lost Boys & Fairies, The Way) for the BBC, as well as Ashley Way (Hoodlum & Son) who also directed all four episodes. Mowat has previously collaborated with Barry on 2023’s Men Up. The Guest is premiering in the UK tonight and will air every Monday night on BBC One and will also be available to stream on the BBCiPlayer.
