Leopold Ross (ShogunMonarch: Legacy of MonstersThe Book of Eli, Triple 9, Broken City) and Nick Chuba (ShogunThelmaAppendageOperation Varsity Blues) are the composers of the upcoming Peacock limited series Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy. The show is created by Patrick Macmanus (Marco Polo, Happy!) and stars Michael Chernus, Gabriel Luna, Michael Angarano, James Badge Dale, Chris Sullivan and Marin Ireland. The 8-part crime drama tells the story of one of the world’s most notorious serial killers told through the words of Gacy himself and those his horrific deeds impacted. Macmanus is also executive producing the UCP production with Noah Oppenheim (Zero Day, Jackie), Sarah Bremner (Colin in Black & White) and Liz Cole (The Thing About Pam) for NBC News Studios, Ashley Michel Hoban, Ahmadu Garba & Kelly Funke for Littleton Road Productions. Matt Cohen (Don’t Die: The Man Who Wants to Live Forever) is credited for providing additional music. Ross & Chuba have previously collaborated with Macmanus on both seasons of Peacock’s Dr. Death and Hulu’s The Girl from Plainville. Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy will premiere on October 16 exclusively on Peacock.
