Music Super Circus has released a soundtrack album for the Swedish limited series The Scarab Flies at Dusk (Tordyveln flyger i skymningen). The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Sindre Hotvedt (Trio, The Snow Siser, Orps: The Movie). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. The Scarab Flies at Dusk is written by Ditta Bongenhielm & Lovisa Milles based on the classic novel of the same title by Maria Gripe and stars Hjalmar Löfmark Yilmaz, Moa Nåsander, Einar Alvarado Lönberg, Tomas von Brömsse, Pernilla August, Dag Malmberg and Lena Endre. The 8-part family adventure directed by Atle Knudsen is set in a small Swedish town during the summer of 1976 and follows three children who are drawn into a mystery involving a cursed Egyptian statue, which has been hidden for centuries. The series premiered in Sweden last month on SVT.
