Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the comedy Splitsville. The album features the film’s original music composed by David Wingo (Mud, BarryTake Shelter, Midnight Special, The Report, The Exorcist: Believer, Loving) and Dabney Morris (Sometimes I Think About Dying, Procession, Broken Diamonds). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, August 22. Splitsville is co-written and directed by Michael Angelo Covino and stars Dakota Johnson, Adria Arjona, Covino himself, Kyle Marvin, Nicholas Braun, David Castañeda, Charlie Gillespie, Simon Webster, Stephen Adekolu, Tyrone Benskin and O-T Fagbenle. The movie revolves around a man who – after his wife asks him for a divorce – runs to his friends for support and is shocked to discover that the secret to their happiness is an open marriage.. The comedy premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and is being released in select theaters this weekend by Neon before expanding nationwide on September 5.
