Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the 2-part animated event movies Watchmen: Chapter I & Chapter II based on DC’s graphic novel series by writer Alan Moore and illustrator Dave Gibbons. The album features selections of the films’ original music composed by Tim Kelly (Amimaniacs, Pinky and the Brain Histeria!). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, August 22 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to the composer’s main title track below. Watchmen: Chapter I & Chapter II are directed by Brandon Vietti, adapted by J. Michael Straczynski. Jim Krieg & Cindy Rago and feature the voices of Matthew Rhys, Katee Sackhoff, Titus Welliver, Adrienne Barbeau, Troy Baker, Corey Burton, Michael Cerveris and Jeffrey Combs. Part I of the Warner Bros. Animation, Paramount Pictures & DC Entertainment production was released last August on VOD, 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray and Part II was released in late 2024 on VOD, 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. Both parts are now also available to stream on HBO Max.
